5 Ways to Use a Social Media and Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant
Posted on 26. May, 2010 by sandra in News
I recently read a magazine article about the “Luxury of Time” and how we should all afford ourselves such luxury. For most people, life is just too busy and many of us are always complaining about it speeding past and not having enough of it. We work long hours and yet just cannot get it all done.
This got me thinking about the services I offer as a Social Media and Internet Marketing Virtual Assistant. It is my job to complete as many of your tasks as possible, which will then give you the “Luxury of Time”. Consider how much time you could free up for yourself by hiring a Virtual Assistant (VA) for the following tasks:
1. Internet Research.
The Internet is an amazing source for various types of research (online market research, competitor analysis, keyword research etc.) but it is something that takes a long time to do. A VA could do all your research and present it to you in a report or spreadsheet format.
2. Twitter Marketing.
Twitter is one of the best tools to network with existing or potential customers, but in order to make it work for you, you will need to be visible on a regular basis, not only in your own time zone but in others as well. A good way to do this is to plan your Tweets for a week in advance and then give them to your VA who would then schedule them, using a tool like Hootsuite. Your Virtual Assistant could do this for you each week.
3. Blogging.
Business blogging is growing at an amazing pace as it allows direct connection and conversation with existing or potential customers in a very personal way. It is also a great way to add new content to your website which in turn is fantastic for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). You can give your content to your Virtual Assistant who could update your blog and even repurpose the content into articles for submission to various Article sites. This is also great for building back links back to your website.
4. Affiliate Marketing.
A Virtual Assistant could save you time by doing research for new Affiliate partners for your product or company. She could also recruit and screen the prospective Affiliate on your behalf. Once the Affiliate has been accepted into your program the VA could also activate the Affiliate account as well as prepare monthly campaign tracking and reporting.
5. Email Marketing.
If you are planning an email marketing campaign, your VA could set-up, edit and manage your auto-responder. She could also track and analyze the campaign and give you reports on a regular basis as well as manage your email list, tracking opt ins, unsubscribes, undeliverables etc.
So if you do not have enough time to do any of the above, consider hiring a Virtual Assistant today!
